A wide range of tempting dishes is prepared by superior chefs in the tradition of the finest Czech and international cuisine. The first written notes of the house date back to 1372, when it was owned by the Mayor of Hradčany. During the following century, the house changed its owners several times. Among them we can find servants of the Czech kings, members of different religious orders and many important Prague burghers. In 1723-1732, the house underwent a thorough and costly reconstruction that shaped its present aspect.
After a complete reconstruction in May 2000, the Golden Star hotel opened its ancient gate.
